Ewa Huszcza and those working at The Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences talk about their fundamental developments of new methods using biocatalysis and chemical synthesis, both of which are ideal tools in the synthesis of flavanoids. During SynBio4Flav they are working on the identification and characterization of enzymes suitable for functionalization and decoration of flavonoid synthons.
